Strength and Durability Performance of Clayey Soil Stabilized with Lime and Marble Powder

This paper investigated the effect of freezing-thawing and wetting-drying cycles on strength durability clay soil stabilized with lime marble powder. The test samples were prepared by adding 5%, 10%, 15% 20% powder, without 6% to which is a high plasticity (CH) according Unified Soil Classification System. Unconfined compressive tests performed after 7 28 days curing periods. behavior was examined applying samples. results this study show that presence powder in mixture has an important role improvement strength. An increase number does not decrease volumetric stability use together increased values compared natural only. It concluded co-use had positive clayey soil.
